Carsten Selch Jensen has published many works on the process of Christianization, warfare, and crusading, especially in the Baltic. Stephen Bennett is a historian specializing in medieval warfare. I spoke to the two of them about Christian and pagan kingdoms and their wars in the tenth century and on.
