SPORTS LOG – Historical Sport Live Simulations

Select Event Simulation

NSTRUCTIONS:

1 – Choose a historical sports event from the drop down menu above

2 – Choose either “START EVENTS POP-UPS” or “START EVENT EMAILS” to get alert notifications. The pop-up or email alerts will be sent to you at the same time intervals that they happened in the past (For example – two events 5 minutes apart in the past will pop up five minutes apart here)

3 – If you choose “START EVENTS POP-UPS” then the alerts will be sent to you automatically. You can “ENABLE AUDIO ALERTS” if you want visual and audio notifications of each new popup. You can push the same button again to Disable that.

(NOTE: Pop-ups on mobile phones may not advance automatically and you may need to advance them manually with the “ADVANCE NOW” button so email is often the better choice for phone alert notifications.)

4 -If you choose “START EVENT EMAILS” then a pop-up will ask for your email address and to “CONFIRM”. Click “CONFIRM” to start the simulation. Email addresses are not collected by this site. They are only used for the notifications until the simulation is over. If there is an error in sending the emails you will see an error message with details on the error.

5 – Click the “ADVANCE NOW” button if you want to jump to the next item without waiting. The rest of the alerts will keep their same time-spacing. There is an “ADVANCE NOW” link/button at the bottom of your emails to do the same thing.

6 – Click the “DISMISS” button to close the current pop-up window. The rest will continue to open as normal.

7 – Click the “CANCEL SIMULATION” button to stop the simulation and the rest of the pop-up windows. The “CANCEL SIMULATION” link/button in the emails does the same thing.

8 – When you “CANCEL SIMULATION”, both “START EVENT” buttons will be live again. They are disabled while a simulation is running.

9 – You can only run one simulation at a time for a specific page/history focus – but you can run a battle, sports, US history, and World history event at the same time.

10 – Check back regularly for new events or follow @warscholar on X for announcements of new events.
